SAVANNAH ENGINEERS (WA) PTY LTD is committed to assisting personnel who have sustained injuries or illness to return to full and gainful employment.  SAVANNAH ENGINEERS (WA) PTY LTD recognises that there are substantial benefits from an employee’s early return to work after an injury/illness. 

Workplace Rehabilitation is a managed process from the instep and industry experience has shown that workplace rehabilitation assists the healing process and helps restore the worker’s normal function sooner.

SAVANNAH ENGINEERS (WA) PTY LTD is firmly committed to:

• Providing a safe and healthy workplace based on prevention of accidents/incidents;
• Ensuring appropriate suitable duties are made available to injured or ill workers to facilitate their safe and early return to work;
• Complying with legislative obligations with respect to the standard for rehabilitation;
• Respecting the confidential nature of medical and rehabilitation information;
• Using a team approach to rehabilitation, all personnel are actively involved in the process of the rehabilitation program; and
• Ensuring all personnel are aware, in the event of injury or illness, they will be consulted to ensure a structured and safe return to work that will not disadvantage them.

All employees have an important role to play to ensure the best possible outcome for their injured colleagues; successful occupational rehabilitation requires involvement and commitment from everyone in the workplace.
